INGLOT IN MOVIES

The INGLOT Toronto location has been used to film many movies and TV shows, and so has its surrounding area, Yonge & Dundas Square. Here are some of the shows and films you can spot us in:

"Shawn Mendes - ARTIST SPOTLIGHT SERIES"

Shawn Mendes is an incredible Canadian recording artist. In "Shawn Mendes - ARTIST SPOTLIGHT SERIES", found on YouTube, Shawn describes the instance he realized he had a career in the music industry. It just so happens he pinpoints a moment he spent in Yonge & Dundas Square, right outside of INGLOT. It's easy to spot us!

SUICIDE SQUAD

There's no way we could leave out the now-infamous film, Suicide Squad. Although they tried to keep it under wraps, it was big news in The Six when Suicide Squad began filming. INGLOT Toronto got pretty close to the action in two scenes: first, as Batman races after The Joker in a high-speed car chase down Yonge Street; and secondly, when the Squad's helicopter crash lands -- right in Yonge & Dundas Square!

SALVATION (TV SHOW)

INGLOT Toronto was more than happy to host the TV Show Salvation and have them use our store front. In the show, two Americans are hiding their identities while in Russia. For the scene, INGLOT Toronto was turned into a Russian store front with a multitude of TV screens showing the News -- TVs which are not typically there.

While the main "INGLOT" sign above the store was removed for the sake of the scene, you can clearly see the INGLOT "T" as the actors exit the alleyway (O'Keefe Lane!).

MINORITY REPORT (TV SHOW)

S1, Ep1

A dramatic flashforward meant that an actor in Minority Report would be pushed from a window onto a double decker bus -- a scene they shot right outside of INGLOT Toronto! Funnily enough, when the main player runs to said bus in the present timeline, it's parked a few meters back then what the prediction shows, at the side of what was then The Hard Rock Cafe.

The scene was shot during the day, so the artists at INGLOT had a front row seat to all of the action. INGLOT Toronto even provided warm refuge to some members of the crew on the cold day.
